Moss Family Get Together

We have made several trips to Salt Lake in the past few months. It has been fun to see the family and spend some time with them in our travels. As always there is food, food, food, and great company when we are together.

Exciting Day!

After a LONG year and half Mom and Wendell finally came home from their mission in Ghana! We were all really excited to have them back home with us!

Dinner with a great view!

Steve and I had a great vacation last December in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. We stayed in a wonderful resort, relaxed, read, swam, ate lots of Mexican food and had a really great time!

Fun with the grandkids!

One of the most fun things that Steve and I do is to play with our kids and grandkids! Justin and Alicia let Ema and Bracken come to St. George for a week of fun in the sun. Nono and Nona had a GREAT TIME! We rode bikes, swam, and played in the sun. They didn't have anything but long sleeve shirts and jeans (proper attire for Logan!) and they were hot so we had also had fun shopping, wearing shorts, t-shirts, and flip flops. Ema and Bracken were excited to see their parents at the end of the week, but not to have to go home to the snow!

Another First

So last week I was in Northern Utah for a great week of I Health Training. On Thursday night I went to Brigham City and met Justin, Ema and Bracken for dinner, it was great to see them! Then on the way back to where I was staying in Pleasant View, a deer ran in front of me and I hit him. In 32 years of driving I have never wrecked but as you can see my car is a mess! I am fine though and even the car being wrecked hasn't really bothered me, it is just a car right! We are waiting for the Insurance Co. to let us know what they will do . . . as old as my car is it could be totaled so we will see. (the estimate we got to fix it was $4000, ouch!) The good news is that the deer didn't die!

Mr. Cycle

Steve as most of you know is an addict . . . he is addicted to his bike! He keeps his body healthy physically and emotionally because of riding each day. He rode in the Cactus Hugger Century today. I am not sure the exact route, I know they started in Ivins, went to Bloomington, back Ivins, out the highway and up Utah Hill, then I Gunlock and back to Ivins. It was extremely windy today, that would not have been fun for me to ride in that wind for one mile let alone 100! In the process of riding he met the owner of one of the bike shops in town and the owner asked if he could sponsor Steve in the Huntsman Senior Games this Fall. He told Steve that he thinks he (Steve) is the fastest guy in town. So in addition to accomplishing the feat of the century in the wind, he is now a sponsored cyclist, Yeah Steve! Keep on Cycling!
P.S. This picture wasn't taken today, it was last year but he is on a bike!

Joining the bloggster world . . . .

Well my kids keep telling me that I am behind the times by not having a blog, I guess they are right but I am not really sure how to do this . . . . well here goes! Life has been interesting to say the least with all of kids married now, living back in St. George and Steve and I both having businesses that we run from our home. We are enjoying being back close to the red rocks of Dixie, it feels like we have finally come home, yeah!
