Last Monday was our 31st wedding anniversary. Since we already had this trip planned to OH we decided to work on the 9th, spend that night in Las Vegas on our way to Ohio as a sort of anniversary celebration. Well, as most of you know, Steve works hard and usually has a lot of loose ends to take care of before we get out of town soooooooooo we got to Las Vegas at 10 p.m. just in time to go to sleep so that we could catch our flight in the morning! It was ok though, it made the trip less tiring that way! It was so great to see Leigh and Jeremy again oh and don't forget Harvey! On Wednesday night Jeremy and two of his classmates had a screening for their thesis films, it was a proud moment to see how talented and creative he is! On Friday Jeremy graduated with his Masters Degree from Ohio University and it brought tears to my eyes as I saw him come in! He has worked so hard on his degree. We talked to his professor and they told us that most people take 3 1/2 to 4 years to get this degree and the fact that he did it in 3 years is amazing. I always knew that Jeremy was amazing but it was fun to hear his professors tell us that they too was very impressed and expected much more greatness in the future. My hat also goes off to Leigh for her support and hard work to support Jeremy in his schoolwork, films, as well as financially, she is really amazing herself. I am going to include pictures of their house they have lived in for the past 3 years in Athens and graduation. Notice the medieval sleeves on Jeremy's gown as well as the Masters hat down the back of his gown, pretty cool! I loved the trip, sharing the last few days in Athens with J and L and to be part of the end of this season of their lives!
